HOW TO ENTER: You will need to complete the online application. Write a short Bio, a short Essay, and submit your $50 non-refundable application fee to enter. You must be between the ages of 13-16 years of age to apply. Your bio and short essay is required for initial consideration. Your Essay will be on "Why we should choose you to be the Miss Dulce Quince Magazine Cover Girl?" and "If you are the new crowned cover girl what will you offer to our Magazine as a young Latina."

ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNER On Sunday, January 13, 2019, at the Quinceañera Expo Frederick in Frederick, MD we will announce the winners.
ELIGIBILITY Open to legal residents of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia, who are between the ages of 13 and 16 in their state or territory of residence at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. All Contestants will need to obtain Parental/Guardian consent and permission before applying to the Miss Dulce Quince Magazine Cover Girl. For safety and security reasons, we will NOT entertain correspondence or inquiries from minors. See the official rules below.
To compete in the Miss Dulce Quince Magazine Cover Girl Campaign, a contestant must fulfill the following requirements:
COMPENSATION Contestants will not be compensated for their appearance or participation. Phase 2 Contestants ONLY will have an opportunity to receive compensation for selling tickets to the event if they choose. Selling ten tickets is an incentive and details will be provided to phase 2 contestants. Contestants are responsible for their travel, meals, and lodging expenses. Every applicant/contestant will receive one complimentary ticket to give away to attend the Expo, Fashion Show, and Cover Girl pageant. Additional Tickets cost $5 per person. Only contestants who make it to the interview and workshop process will receive professional headshots. Every contestant (not required) will be given ten tickets to sell and may keep the proceeds from those sales. Tickets are pre-priced, and the price cannot be adjusted, sold for more or altered in any way.
WINNER Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the Miss Dulce Quince Magazine Cover girl campaign should you win the title.
Dulce Quince Magazine will judge all entries, and it's representatives; whose decisions are final based on the following criteria.
PHASE 1 Your Bio You will write a Bio telling us about yourself.
Short Essay You will write an essay (minimum 400 words) on why you would make a great Cover Girl for Dulce Quince Magazine. You will be graded on spelling, grammar, sentence fluency and checking the overall cohesion of your ideas.
PHASE 2-Top 100 The Interview & Workshops You will commit to the mandatory interview and workshops which is disclosed via email. You will have a 2-minute interview with our judges. Learn how to walk, about makeup application and demonstrations of applications. You will be required to wear Black pants or black jeans and a white shirt and bring a pair of high heels.
If you do not attend the Interview & workshops or arrive late, you will be automatically disqualified.
SEMI FINALS - Top 50 On Stage Question One on-stage questions will be presented to you. You are judged on how well you handle pressure onstage. You will pick up your purchased Official Miss Dulce Quince T-shirts upon check-in. You will wear your black jeans and your Official Miss Dulce Quince Magazine shirt and nude high heels.
Confidence This phase of the pageant is designed for the judges to assess the contestant’s beauty, poise, grace, and commanding stage presence.
